A while ago, I posted about circles, fabric & monsters...After a month or two of not sewing anything I finally finished the quilt! If you would like to make your own, the fabulous tutorial can be found at Cluck, Cluck Sew. The monsters I embroidered are actually on the scrappy back...photo soon.
I'm moving on to my next obsession...do you subscribe to Fat Quarterly ezine? LOVE the features, and the moment I saw the Constellation quilt, I wished I could just buy it...but knew I'd have to make my own. Trying out some solids because the chances of getting my hands on the original fabric...uhhhh...right. Not in love yet...trying another block today to see if I can change my own mind.
Dog sitting this sweet old lady while my mom is at a dog show for a few days. She's old, sweet and immediately plopped herself down in a sunny spot. (disclaimer: dark wood floors=constantly dusty...no matter how often I swiffer)
We went to see this guy play some T Ball...he's hilarious and I just really couldn't love him more if he were my own. He cracks me up...even if he does occassionally drive his mom around the bend crazy...but that's the great part of being an auntie--right?
*knocking on wood before making the following statement*
It finally feels like some good spring weather is upon us...I keep thinking about all the little things that make me happy this time of year; open windows, kids playing outdoors...what's making you happy right now?

Gorgeous quilt!!

I might have to order a quilt from you. :) I have one in mind that I'm sure I'll never make, because you know how I'm a finisher. LOL!
Loving the photos! Love when you post.
Spring. Uhm. Open windows would be better if people weren't redoing our street and therefore making our house smell like tar.
Really excited about the possibility of going to the beach on a regular basis. And more and more fresh fruits available.

I am using that exact pattern to make that exact quilt for my girl's beds! Your quilt looks soooo fabulous. I can't wait for mine to be done (I'm still in the cutting phase).
